The Second Step - Attending the first session
- Cover in depth your reason for attending - challenge perspective and narrative.
- Explore how you do what you do
- Discover which solutions would be best to focus on moving forward and make a plan for subsequent sessions to accommodate everything covered, collaboratively building, planning, seeking and discovering a plan that suits you and your needs.
- We may allay misconceptions, worries or apprehensions stemming from wrong information surrounding hypnosis.
- We may play some suggestibility games to better understand what hypnotherapy is and what it is not.
Subsequent sessions -
- Discuss topic/issues (whatever is relevant to that session or moment) Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Guided by whatever you may need most in that session).
- Consolidate with Hypnotherapy.
- Set Tasks to consolidate learning outside of our sessions.

Sessions must be completed within a certain time frame relevant to the treatment plan agreed between client and therapist. For example 8-10 weeks unless agreed otherwise. Session dates and times must be agreed and booked in at the first session to ensure those slots are honoured in the time frame mentioned.
