The Journey that led me here …

My love for helping others began young. Watching someone I loved struggle with their mental health left a lasting impression. As a child, I witnessed the endless cycle of medications, the moments when support was absent, and a system that often felt more harmful than healing.

I remember thinking: There must be another way. A gentler way. A way that empowers rather than diminishes.

Let me be clear—I believe medicine has its place, and we’re fortunate to have access to it. But too often, we lean on it as the only solution. We reach for the quick fix, the prescription, the surgery—without first exploring the tools we already possess. Tools like the mind-body connection, which remains one of the most profound and untapped sources of healing we have.

Imagine knowing that you have the ability to shift your thoughts, your pain, your perception. That’s not wishful thinking—it’s neuroscience, it’s mindfulness, it’s hypnosis, and it’s real. Rediscovering our innate power to heal and transform is something I wish I could gift to everyone. But for now, I start with the one person in front of me—curious, open, ready.

A Life of Care, A Calling to Hypnotherapy

My path has always been rooted in care—from working with dementia patients and supporting people in the community, to assisting in classrooms for children with special needs. And amidst it all, I became a mother to three beautiful children—my greatest teachers.

After years of working full time and feeling like I was missing the moments that mattered most, I knew something had to change. I took a leap—big, bold, terrifying—and chose to follow a path that aligned with who I truly am. I’d always been drawn to spiritual, mindful practices, so I thought, Why not hypnotherapy? It seemed a bit “woo,” a bit unconventional… right up my street.

But what I found wasn’t what I expected—it was better. I trained under an exceptional clinical hypnotherapist who brought science, pragmatism, and accountability into the mix. I learned what hypnosis really is (and what it absolutely is not), and how to use it in a way that’s grounded, effective, and deeply empowering.

I was taught how to honour the client’s role in the process, how to teach self-hypnosis for long-lasting change, and how to hold space that fosters true transformation—not dependency.

My approach and Core Values

What I believe is simple: there is no one-size-fits-all in healing.

While some practitioners swear by a single method, I believe real change often comes from weaving together different threads—science-based, spiritual, intuitive, therapeutic. My way is, essentially, all ways. Diverse, flexible, and rooted in ethics, honesty, and curiosity.

I integrate a range of modalities to support each person’s unique journey, including:

  • Clinical Hypnotherapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Techniques

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)

  • Mindfulness & Meditation

  • NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

And I’m always learning. I’ll soon be incorporating EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Sound Healing, too.
